Boots

Boots are the backbone of this store, and the range here runs from ankle height to knee height with very little in between that is decorative for its own sake. Ankle boots and booties sit at one end: pointed toes, square toes and almond toes, on covered heels, stacked heels and block heels low enough to walk a full day on. Knee-high boots sit at the other, cut with stretch panels and flexible back panels so a tall shaft moves with the leg instead of gripping it.

Materials repeat because they work. Suede appears most often, in black, espresso, taupe, champagne and brandy; nappa and smooth leather cover the pairs meant for weather; calf and haircalf turn up where texture is the point of the shoe. Linings are chosen for the season rather than for the label, which is why shearling, faux shearling and thermal linings recur through the winter shapes.

Underneath, most of these are built on rubber outsoles, and several use lug soles where grip matters more than a clean line.
