Description
The Fuoco is the boot for people who do not want a boot to be an event. Brandy suede, a low stacked heel, and no other announcements.
It comes in calf leather as well as suede, across a palette that runs from ecru through espresso. The heel is 1.3", stacked, which is the height that lets a boot be worn all day rather than assessed each morning. The shaft stands 5.9" with a 10" circumference, so it closes around the ankle and stops there. An interior zipper does the fastening, out of sight. A rubber outsole is fitted below. Made in Italy.
This is a boot that goes to work and then to the weekend without being repacked. Straight jeans sit over it cleanly, a midi skirt leaves the shaft visible, and either way the shoe is not the loudest thing in the outfit. Buy it for the fifth wearing, not the first.
