A boot shop on West Expressway 83
Boots N Jeans is a western apparel store in Weslaco, Texas. The shop sits at 2005 W Expressway 83, with work boots in one window and western wear in the other, and it has served the Rio Grande Valley from that address in person long before it sold anything online.
What we sell
This site carries the women's footwear side of the store: ankle boots and knee-high boots, pumps, sandals, sneakers, loafers and flats. The shoes are chosen the way they are chosen on the shop floor — by material, by how the heel is built, and by whether the pair will still be worn in a year. Suede, nappa, smooth leather, calf and haircalf do most of the work. Shearling, faux shearling and thermal linings appear on the pairs meant for cold weather, and rubber and lug soles carry the ones meant for bad ground.
How we describe things
Every product page states what the shoe is made of, how high the heel stands, and, on boots, how tall the shaft is and how far it measures around. Those numbers come from the manufacturer's own specification. Where a style is known to run small or to come in whole sizes only, the product page says so rather than leaving you to find out after it arrives.
