Description
The zipper is on the outside of the Emma, and it is bold about it. That single decision turns a classic bootie into something with an opinion.
The upper is water-resistant leather, made to hold up to weather. The heel is a block at 3.5”, set on a 1” platform and finished with a lug sole, which is what makes real height comfortable to stand on. The shaft stands 5” with an 11” circumference. A thermal lining runs inside for cold days, and a rubber outsole below. Made in Italy, and weatherproof.
Height plus a lug sole is the combination that carries an outfit through a whole winter day: it dresses up a trouser and it does not slip on a wet street. Wear it with the hem breaking just above the shaft, where the zipper stays visible.
