Description
Lug soles are usually the heaviest thing in the wardrobe. The Maryann is the exception, and its lightness is the reason it gets worn twice as often.
Smooth black suede covers a traditional lug sole silhouette. The heel measures 1.7” and the shaft stands 7” with a 10” circumference, which is tall for an ankle boot and covers more of the leg than most. Water-resistant technology and a thermal lining handle the conditions, and a rubber outsole takes the ground. Made in Italy.
Transitional is the honest description: this is the boot for the weeks either side of winter, when a tall boot is too much and a flat is not enough. Wear it with a cropped trouser where the full shaft shows, or under a jean when the forecast is genuinely bad.
