Tall boots usually ask you to choose between a clean line and getting into them. The Nolita, in champagne suede, does not: a stretch panel runs down the back and takes care of the problem quietly.
The toe is almond-shaped and the heel is stacked at 1.1", low enough to walk a full day on. Loop and stud details break up the shaft, which stands 14.7" tall with a 13.9" circumference, so it lands just under the knee. An inside zipper opens it, a breathable lining sits against the leg, and a rubber outsole runs below. Made in Italy.
This is the tall boot that works with a skirt, because the shaft is slim and the heel is not making a statement. Under a flowing dress it reads elegant; under a tailored skirt it reads like you own good shoes. Neither outfit has to be built around it, which is the point.
