Description
Quilting is what stops the Katya from being just another sneaker. In black nappa leather, the pattern catches light across the top of the foot and nothing else has to happen.
The leather is smooth nappa here; a dusted metallic version carries the silver. The toe is round, which is the comfortable shape, and the design is slip-on, so there is nothing to fasten on the way out of the door. A rubber outsole runs underneath. Made in Italy.
Sporty and sophisticated usually cancel each other out, but a sneaker in one colour manages both by refusing to be either. It works with sleek leggings on a travel day and with faded jeans on every other one.
