Description
Two shoes, one pair: the Amelia takes the penny slots and the elegance of a loafer and sets them on the chunky sole of a sneaker. In black, the hybrid is not obvious until you look down.
The upper is supple water-resistant suede with the classic penny slots across the front. Height is 1.5” with a .6” platform, so the foot stays level. The rubber outsole is chunky, built for durability and grip rather than looks, and shearling lines the inside for the cold weeks. Made in Italy. Note that it runs small, so a half size up is the safer order.
This is the shoe for the walking part of the day when the destination still has a dress code. It handles a commute in bad weather and then looks deliberate in a room full of people who took a car.
