Strappy usually means fragile. The Rebecka, in caffe nappa leather, is strappy and still substantial enough to wear to work.
The straps are the design, cut narrow and finished with a covered buckle, and the heel is covered to match at 2.9". That covering is what keeps a tall sandal looking formal rather than summery. The buckle is adjustable, so the fit can be set once. A rubber outsole runs underneath. Made in Italy.
A dark neutral makes this a weekday sandal rather than a holiday one. Wear it under tailored trousers, where the straps show and the heel does the posture work, or with a sheath dress when the office is warm.
