Description
Bows on a block heel: the Palica takes a vintage idea and cuts it into a shape that reads modern. In almond black, the details are left to do the talking.
The upper is a smooth, water-resistant leather. Its toe is a pointed cap, and a small bow sits at the top of each one, which is what separates this from every plain court shoe in the cupboard. Height comes from a block heel of 1.8”, wide enough to stand on without thinking about it. Underneath runs a rubber outsole. Made in Italy.
The block is the reason this shoe travels well: it holds up on a pavement in a way a thin heel does not, so tailoring at work and jeans at the weekend can both take the same pair. Keep everything else plain and let the bows be the only decoration in the outfit.
