Description
When the temperature rises, the shoe question narrows fast. The Joni, in eggshell, is the answer that does not require any thought.
The toe is squared rather than pointed, which is a comfort decision as much as a style one, and a polished buckle fastens the strap. It is adjustable, so the fit can be set once and left. The heel is a low 0.8", suede covers the upper and a leather version exists in the range, and a rubber outsole takes the wear. Made in Italy.
Pale sandals ask for pale clothes, and this one is happiest with linen Bermuda shorts or a skirt with some movement in it. It is flat enough for a market and finished enough for lunch afterwards, which is the practical case for buying a plain sandal in a light colour rather than a loud one.
